You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.

RACHEL BELLINGER

I’m a human-centered communications consultant, seasoned start-up leader and mindful social entrepreneur. I blend an entrepreneurial spirit with a mission-driven heart to tell stories that matter. I have spent the last 10 years at social impact start-ups and global NGOs designing marketing communications programs and building strategic partnerships that create positive impact.

Social impact, storytelling and spirituality have long since been driving forces in my life. From a very young age my heart ached for injustices and I have always found purpose in service and take great responsibility in my privilege. Writing is how I make sense of the world and how I create impact in my work. As a yogi and a meditator, I pay attention to the stories we tell ourselves and how they shape our world.

Now, I combine my passion for social impact and gender equity with my experience in communications to elevate nonprofits and mission-driven B Corps. I am a Lead Communications Consultant & Strategic Advisor for Black Fox Philanthropy, a leading women-led B Corp fundraising strategy firm helping global nonprofits attract significant and sustainable funding to build capacity and deepen their impact. Prior, I was on the founding team of DoneGood, named “the Amazon for social good” by Forbes, and worked in marketing and business development at venture-backed startup Craftsy.

I have an MBA from Northeastern University, a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources from Colorado State University, and 500+ hours of training in yoga, meditation and trauma healing across India, Thailand, Bali, Hawaii and Boston. I’m a mother, yoga teacher, and meditation teacher with a wandering footprint. Originally from the Midwest, I spent nearly a decade in Colorado, five years in Boston and a year in South Asia, before settling on Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest with my family.
